Ferenco is a company of technically skilled professionals committed to successful engineering and project management. The company is dedicated to satisfying the needs of owners who do not have their own manpower to carry out small, medium or large plant projects. Since its inception, Ferenco has focused its primary effort on the lime industry.

Ferenco’s work in the lime industry has included:

limestone crushing plants,

lime production facilities,

hydrate plants,

precipitated calcium carbonate plants.

Ferenco has been responsible for 21 lime plants resulting in 3.5 million tons per year of added capacity. As a natural progression Ferenco has diversified to include the cement, gypsum, flyash, clay, coal/coke, industrial sand and salt industries.

Work undertaken includes:

plant expansion studies,

strategic planning,

permit application assistance,

process design,

plant and facilities design,

process problem resolution.

In addition to major capital work, Ferenco offers services for the smaller capital projects.

Examples of smaller capital projects include:

baghouse/scrubber replacements,

exhaust system upgrades,

preheater modifications,

cooler replacements,

fuel conversion,

product storage addition,

kiln upgrades,

controls upgrades,

dust collection systems,

blending systems,

transload terminals,

stack replacement.
